The second edition of "Spey Casting by Simon Gawesworth" has just been published by Stackpole Books and is available right here. This new edition of the book features a NEW chapter on Skagit Casting; a vital technique for anglers using big flies, or fast sinking tips. In addition there is an extended chapter on tackle and the importance of correct balance. All-in-all, an extra 12 pages are added to this second edition, including 10 additional color photographs to illustrate the new information.
